Staged
You've been hired as a home stager to prepare a vacant house for sale and make it look presentable for potential buyers. The family vanished months ago, leaving everything behind. Your job seems easy, but the house isn't as empty as it seems.
Objective
Your goal is to complete a few basic staging tasks in the rooms around the house, such as tidying up, arranging items and cleaning surfaces. But as you work, you'll experience supernatural events that escalate with every task completed.
Dev Note
This demo offers a short, 15 to 30 minute horror experience of what I'm currently building.
The full game will feature:
- A larger environment, expanding both inside and outside the house.
- Enemy AI.
- More complex mechanics.
- A lot more jump scares.
This game’s still a work in progress so if you find any glitches or have suggestions, please let me know! It really helps me improve things.
Content creators are more than welcome to record or share their playthroughs - I’d love to see them!

Install instructions
Once you download the folder you will need to unzip it and then run the Staged.exe file.
Missing Dependencies: If the game does not launch and asks for C++ components, please download and install the latest Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (x64) from the official Microsoft website here.
Note: If Windows shows a message saying “Windows protected your PC” when you try to open the game, don’t worry — that’s normal for indie games that aren’t signed by large publishers. To play, click "More info". Then click "Run anyway". This just tells Windows you trust the file.
